These reeds are designed for use with the Kromski Harp Forte Rigid Heddle Loom. They determine how many warp threads per inch can be used in your project — a critical part of planning your weave.
Swapping out the reed lets you adapt your loom to suit different yarns and patterns. Finer reeds are great for delicate or lightweight yarns, while wider spacing works better for thicker yarns or textured materials like art yarns.
Reeds are easy to install: simply remove the existing reed from the top of the loom and replace it with your new one before warping. No tools or modifications needed.
We recommend having a few different sizes on hand to give yourself creative flexibility as you learn and grow as a weaver.
Available in 5, 8, 10 & 12 dpi. Dpi stands for “dents per inch” and is indicative of how many warp threads can be placed per inch on the width of your project.
