Frame-loom tapestry weaving

Frame Tapestry 

Great for 3–5 hour workshops

  • 3 hrs is enough time to make a small weaving on a square frame
  • Piece is removed and finished on a dowel (or used flat)
  • Frames can be reused; simple to continue at home
  • Optional custom projects: bookmark or bracelet
Circular weaving workshop

Circular Tapestry

Stunning finished piece on its frame

  • Best as 4–5 hrs (3 hrs possible, some finishing at home)
  • Frame becomes the ready-to-hang artwork
  • Botanical circular weaving option available (great for 2-3 hrs)
  • Some students may prefer to complete at home—kit supports this

  • $200 deposit required to book dates.

FAQ

Will everyone finish in-class?
Often yes for 3–5 hr formats, but weaving is mindful and can take longer—some participants may prefer to finish at home using their included kit.
Which style should we choose?
For 3 hrs, we recommend a small square-frame tapestry (or bookmark/bracelet). If you want a ready-to-hang piece, choose circular weaving (4–5 hrs ideal; 3 hrs is possible with finishing at home).
Do you travel?
Yes—within the GTA. A travel fee applies (typically CA$25–CA$60). Provide your address for a firm quote.
How far in advance should we book?
2–4 weeks is ideal. We’ll do our best for short-notice dates.
