Metal Bobbin Winder - Leclerc

A light but strong hand bobbin winder with completely covered gears. This winder uses permanently greased bearings, meaning it will do its job for a very long time with very little maintenance. Its tapered plated shaft fits all Leclerc bobbins and Leclerc Spools.

For each turn of the comfortable wooden handle, the shaft turns 7.5 times. This speeds up the winding process.

Clamps to a tabletop up to 1½" thick. 

The tapered plated shaft allows a variety of bobbins to fit:
Leclerc, Schacht, and Harrisville bobbins
Leclerc pirns (but not Schacht or Bluster Bay pirns)
Leclerc plastic spools (but not cardboard spools)
Bluster Bay paper pirns
