Level 2-3: Open Studio Weaving - May 5/12/19/26, 2026

In this cozy group class of 6, you’ll create a small project of your choosing. Explore new techniques, practice dressing your loom, design a custom textile and practice finishing methods while weaving a textile project on a floor loom. Students must be able to work independently and set up their own looms.

• Finishing techniques for various textiles projects
• Project examples: tea towels, rugs, blankets, wall hangings.

Class Format Tuesdays 

• Instructional class time: 10:30am–3:30pm (5 hours)
• Optional Solo Weaving Time: 3:30pm–4:30pm (1 hour)

Prerequisite

This is level 2-3 intermediate class. Experience setting up 4-shaft looms is required.
