Get an introduction on tablet weaving and learn about this ancient weaving technique. In this fun and accessible workshop you learn how to weave with tablets and explore patterns, different weft materials, and experiment with artistic dimensions and forms. Students will leave with skills of a new weaving technique, pattern samples, unique experiments, and most likely with a finished woven band.

Class Format
This is a two evening, 7-hour total workshop, running from 6pm–9:30pm.
Materials
All materials are included - yarns, instructional booklet (yours to keep). The material needed as looms can’t be kept. Students are welcome to bring additional yarns to incorporate into their weaving.
Prerequisite
This is a beginner-friendly class and open to all levels.
