Level 1: Make a Scarf – Table/Floor Loom Weaving - August 29 & 30, 2026

In this intimate group class of 5 students, you'll weave a hand-crafted cotton scarf using either a table loom or floor loom. Learn how to add texture and dimension with beautiful yarns while creating a functional, wearable piece.

What You’ll Learn

• How to set up a loom from warping to tie-up
• Basic plain weave techniques
• Creating a plaid pattern through colour play on warp and weft
• Finishing techniques to make your scarf wearable

Class Format

This is a two-day workshop:

• Day One: 9am–5pm (8 hrs)
• Day Two: 9am–5pm (8 hrs)

Prerequisite

This class is beginner-friendly and open to all levels. Intermediate students may choose their own pattern.
