Despite the name, this yarn is not made from Shetland wool. “Shetland” refers to the yarn size—not the fibre. It’s a balanced blend of fine Australian wool and hearty New Zealand wool, offering a subtle luster and beautiful durability.
Spun with a high twist for strength and longevity, this yarn weaves into garments and textiles that soften and wear beautifully over time.
This shetland weight yarn has amazing texture and although it is 100% wool, it feels soft and not scratchy. Suitable for scarves, throws, and tapestries.
