Wire Heddles - Standard all sizes - Leclerc
Leclerc always believes that a light wood frame, sturdy heddle support bar and metal heddles make the best combination for harnesses.
Wire heddles are generally easier to thread, slide smoothly on the shaft frames, and are also much easier to move on and off the shafts. Standard wire heddles are supplied as the default with most looms.
Heddle lengths per loom
Leclerc Table looms: 9 1/2″
Nilus, Fanny, Mira, and Artisat looms: 10 5/8″
Colonial, Weavebird, Kebec: 12 5/8″
To check the heddle length for your loom, measure from the top edge of the upper heddle support bar to the bottom edge of the lower heddle support bar.
Heddles will come marked with red on one end. To thread right-handed - put the red end on top. To thread left-handed put the red end on the bottom.

This set includes 18 adjustable loop cords and 18 pegs. This means you can set up each treadle to tie up 3 shafts at once for a 4 hardness loom with 6 treadles total. If you have a loom with more than 4 shafts, you will need multiple kits.
The length of each cord is 15” and can be cut to fit the size that makes sense for your loom.
The traditional tie up system can be tricky as you need to have the exact lengths for each nylon cord in order to get all the hardnesses to raise or lower all together and thus creating a clean shed. The texsolv small loop cords allow you to easily adjust each hardness cord by being able to shift it loop by loop with a peg or anchor. Texsolv also does not stretch which increases the longevity of the cords.
Texsolv Loom Cord is made of two parallel nylon ropes that are locked together at regular intervals forming a continuous series of regular loops. This polyester cord is extremely durable and knotless and can be quickly and securely fastened together in a number of different ways.
