Let’s make a beautiful and textural cotton scarf.
In this class you can choose to weave on a table loom or floor loom.
Students will learn the basics of setting up their looms from warping to tie up.
They will learn the basics of plain weave, how to play with colour on the warp and weft to create a plaid pattern and tips and tricks to make a wearable scarf. A variety of finishing techniques will be shown to the students to complete their project.
Students will leave with a piece that is approximately 12” W x 65” L
Students will use an Organic Cotton slub yarn or 100% Virgin wool
Please inquire if you would like to weave with alpaca wool for an additional $55 or cotton/linen blend for $25

Prerequisite: This is a beginner friendly class and welcomes all levels of experience. Intermediate students may join the class and weave a pattern of their choice.
You will receive an email reminder with more details about the workshop a week before the class date. If you do not finish your weaving within the class time, you can book extra weaving hours at $30/hr.
