Our weaving bench is a custom design that is made for making your weaving set up a lot smoother.
The dual height of this bench, helps weavers to sit at a lower height in level with the hardnesses to make threading easier on your back and have a better visual of the heddles. You can add a cushion to make the wood a more comfortable seat.
This is made possible by having a removable storage chest box that will sit on top of the bench frame to later give you the height you need for weaving on your floor loom.
The bench is also great for table loom weavers who rely on a regular table to weave on, the height of the bench will allow you to sit at a taller height than a chair and therefore have better and easier access to your loom while weaving.
The bench is CNC cut Aspen plywood with integrated mortise and tenon joinery for easy assembly.
The storage box hinge and optional assembly screws are provided with clear instructions.
Can be assembled with glue/clamps or screws only. *Drill, drill bits, and a screw driver are required to assemble the bench.
The bench is sanded and unfinished. Wood oil, water base, or paint finish can be optionally applied by the end user based on preference.
Please note that these benches were originally designed for LeClerc floor looms. Check the measurements provided below to make sure the bench will fit with your loom.
