Shetland has been a versatile workhorse for our customers for years. This yarn is not made from Shetland Wool. Shetland refers to the size of the yarn and not the fibre content. The wool is a blend of an Australian fine wool and a hearty New Zealand wool that gives the yarn it’s luster.

Our Shetland is spun more tightly on the spinning frames (higher turns per inch) so it is highly durable and will wear better and better every year. 

100% Virgin Wool.

The 4 colour bundle will contain approximately 280 grams total divided by your four colours, you can make your selection once it is added to the cart.

This highland weight yarn has amazing texture and although it is 100% wool, it feels soft and not scratchy. Suitable for scarves, throws, and tapestries.

We have the colour card available at the studio for you to look at the colours in person and we can order colours for you that are not in stock. (1-2 weeks processing time)

Please note that the real colours of this product may look different depending on how it is displayed by your monitor or device. Dye lots may also vary so please contact us if you need a large quantity of the same dye lot to order all together.
