This Premium 16/8 cotton also called mop weight works great in both warp and weft. This yarn washes and blooms beautifully, making it great for a variety of woven projects like lush baby blankets, heavy duty table linens and rugs. It makes a great heavy weft for rep weave projects and placemats. This is also a great warp yarn for larger tapestries that need a more supportive warp base for more textural and thicker wefts.
Also available in 2/8, 4/8 and 8/8. A colour card is available for purchase by special order.
Compatible loom types for warping: tapestry frame looms, rigid heddle looms, floor looms, table looms.

16/8 100% Un-Mercerized Cotton
Approx. 200yrds/220g - great for warping large tapestries that need strong yarn for textural weaving, these small quantities allow you to choose many colours without having to buy a full cone
Approx. 420yrds/454g - This is a full cone of yarn that can be used for any weaving style especially table and floor looms which require large quantities of yarn.
